Crabmas and The Dark Side of the Den (aka Blacklight Posters are Still Cool)

Doctor Who eat your hearts out!!
I once again don't remember what inspired this year's story, but I remember being stressed about it, not having a clear idea of what I was going to do, not that I ever do!! :-D I remember not thinking it was the best, but after rereading it I think it's fun!! I think one of the stressful things was how many new locations I had to draw, 12 all new rooms and locations, for a person that still doesn't know how to draw or use the software properly it can get to be more stressful than it should!! But even with the weeks of work it can take me, I'm still glad I didn't start this in a time when I could just tell a computer what pictures I wanted and it just spits them out, because even with all the time and energy it takes, and how rubbish it may be, at the end of the day, I like that it's something I made myself!!
One new thing we learn about is Gordon's GPS!! Some of the graphics I actually like are the 3Dish portal in the wall and the stars over Christmas Crabs head in the American Gladiator part, and no, I have no clue where the idea to go to the American Gladiator set came from, most likely just another random thought like usual!! :-D Probably where the idea for the blacklight posters came from too and yes, they are indeed still cool!! The one thing I do remember is why there's a France bit in the story, I wanting to have something from Paris in this story since I was already getting ready to go to the Paris Olympics the next year!!
Two boring Easter eggs I can think of.. The Indiana Freeway sign is actually a reference to a band hanabi's dad was in once!! And there was a scene I drew and finished of the Acropolis in Greece because that's where Sid lives, in the ruins!! :-D But it didn't work with the stories timeline so I cropped out the right side of the picture and you can see what remains below, it's the picture between the Indiana Freeway and the desert cactus!!
Besides having to attempt to make a sheep, well a larger version of the original sheep in the wainscotting, and a camel, I also made two ponies that sort of look like the cows from the Muppets!! :-D They have nothing to do with the story, I just told someone I'd get them ponies for Christmas and this was the best I could do!! :-D
