Crabmas 2.0 (aka Crabytastic LLC)   December 18, 2022

Some Epic changes this Crabmas, well one mostly, the introduction of an all new Christmas Crab!! After months of work, I redesigned the Christmas Crab!! I wanted a Christmas Crab that was all my design.. I like how he turned out, in fact I had a batch of Christmas Crab pins made and sent them to a bunch of Crabmas fans from PachiTalk!! I actually mention in the story slapping the new Christmas Crab pictures onto pins!! :-D You can see the pins in a blog post on this site!!

 

Another Easter egg in this one is the mention of a crabmas.com which is the site you are on right now!! I don't think anyone checked to see if it was real.. Fun fact, Sid actually got me the domain years ago, but I never got around to doing what I wanted with it..

 

Some other non crab graphics I think I did well on in this one were the snake, giraffe, power switch and claw and the bat!! I can't remember why I made the bat, I just remember I wanted to make a bat!! :-D Let's make it official, his name is Ozzy now!!
 

ERROR, ERROR, ERROR!!!! :-o While most years I make some dumb spelling errors and anyone reading this should know by now I don't know how grammar works, but this year is the first time I ever left a placeholder in the form of ??????????s  in a final story!! I use that for small things, usually new character names, to remember to figure out what to do later on instead of stopping and worrying about what to do instead of writing more!! Anyway, I can't remember why or how it was left, best I can think is I couldn't think of what to say, so I figured maybe it conveyed that the Christmas Crab also couldn't think what to say there so I left it?? Who knows!! :-D

 

Besides finding a way to introduce the new Christmas Crab, the main idea behind this years story was AI, or how bad AI and NFTs were getting.. The Crabulous AI website shown in the story shows some real "Christmas Crab" AI images I did on some random free AI website!! That's the first and last time AI will be used for a Crabmas story, sorry, you're stuck with my brain..Yikes!!
 

What else, I see I named someone Sera, probably after my cat Sera, but I don't remember.. There is also the return of the Winter Witch who I sort of base on hanabi/Angie, so I took Angie's witch hat she made and recreated it for the Winter Witch!! This story also mentions the Winter Witch's daughter which I think was sort of based on Angie's daughter with a slight name change!! And while she doesn't make over crabs (as far as I know :-D) she is a skilled dog groomer!!

And one last thing I like to do in most Crabmas stories is put fun things on TV and computer screens that may or may not get noticed, but it's still fun to do so with so many computers in this one I had to find lots of things to use including an old AOL screenshot, a P4A Crabulo.us crab, some random code, the Matrix green letter things, the blue screen of death, Tumblr, PachiTalk and even the old home page for this site!! :-D​​
